Try to get 400 lbs up front on surf side, also, get a couple of fat bricks, they hold 150 each. Put them on top of the sac in the vdrive locker, even if your locker won't close all the way. That should get your rubrail kissing the water at speed, and make the face of your wake solid. If you have 400 lbs of people weight, try to get most or all in the ballast boy seat. I think you will see the difference.

I think you have the surf ballast system Ragboy. So you run the front ballast full?

No, I have the PRO system. I think the surf system is one 400lb sac up front. The pro system is 2 sacs up front, one on each side, each 400lbs.

Do you think the surf system would be effective filled up to 75%-100%. Seems like it may just be swishing around. At least that's how I'm visualizing it?

Are you running the custom surf sac fog_ducker? If so, there's no way you're getting a fat brick on top of it.

I was having the same problem on my boat. Water pouring over the deck... deck actually chopping off the top of the wake on both sides but the goofy side really sucked! After modifying my deck mounts and raising my deck up 8"... Clean and huge with very little weight. My rub rail is still 6 to 7 inches above the water line. I don't ride goofy (too often) but my wife does.

Here is a pic of the goofy side.

You can get the fat brick on top, just leave the door open. If it works, this may not be a permanent solution, but tell you that this is the issue. If it works, then try putting hte bricks on the seat but they probably won't work as well.

Does your boat have the in hull 250 tank? I am guessing it doesn't, and that is the difference. That 250 lbs in that low and outside spot, is VERY efficient surf weight.

Look at it this way, to dial it in, put sacs on the swim deck if you have to see what it is that works. Once you figure it out, then your "future" problem is how to take that setup with sacks on top of your locker, or on the swim deck, how to translate that into something hidden and easy. But first, just throw sacs around to get it to work.

RJ and I spent like a full month experimenting on the 24Ve, took us longer because we didn't know as much.

I'm pretty sure my system is the 250 with the 350 on top? (Which you can see when you open the locker.). About the fat bricks, I'm running a 400 fat sac right on top of the locker where the walk through is. Thanks for sounding in Harv, both sides on your boat look unreal, but I would like to try to dial in the wave without too much modification. Ultimately, I'm hoping tige will figure out an update with medallion to make custom sacs fully automated through the touch and I'll replace the 350 lb locker sac with a 1000 lb. I've seen guys with the stock deck have clean wakes (Ragboy), so I know it can be done.

Does that answer your question Timmy? I believe the stock surf system is the hidden 250 and the 350 in the locker?

I am working on a sac to replace stock, and be fully automated. Stay tuned...
