    2010 swim platform

I'm having difficulty cleaning up the top of my wave. Seems to be goofy side only. No matter how much weight I throw at it, I still have a double up lip at the top. I was out with K's on his 09 RZ2, which he has swapped the platform to the rounded edged teak deck. This seems to help. I noticed when riding, the water seems to go over my deck, where as with K's' deck, it goes around it. Any ideas or suggestions. I ride with approx 1000 lbs rear, 200 lbs front, usually 400 lbs or so people weight starboard side, taps at 3 and speed at 10.4.
    Thanks
I'll put video up when I figure out how to post the with my phone.

What weighting is K using? Have you tried more weight up front?

Im running the custom 1000lb sack and stock rear tank full, around 200 in the front. thats all.. As Ragboy pointed out, we dial it in until the rubrail is just about at the waterline. Taps at 3 and speed anywhere from 10.4 to 10.8

I swapped to a teak deck ( 22VE) in 2008 with my 1st RZ2 when we all found the deck was cutting into the wake. I did order a 2009 deck for my 08 but never even put it on as I was so happy with the Teak. As soon as I got my 09 I swapped out my stock deck for my teak.

I have found that the shape and the fact that the deck is solid ( no lip) produces a very smooth wave as FogDucker pointed out with no double lip at all.

Are you sure that it's a lip fog_ducker or is it just a cosmetic line? I'd like to see pics of both of your waves!

Aside from factory "teak" platform, are there other sources? Is Lee still producing the platforms as shown in the linked thread?

Show some pics. Also, try 11-12 mph.I have to GPS mine, but we are going 11.6 -12 most of the time on my speedset.

If you have a double lip thing, that usually is not the deck. But pictures would def help.

Take the pictures from about eye level, from the ballast boy seat on same side.

Here are a few pics from the last 2 times we have been out including the last night with Fog Ducker.

The 1st pic with our 12 year girl free riding ( 1st time for her ) is with no additional weight, just the factory rear and about 200 in the front tank. She likes it like this because the wave is smaller but still has more then enough push for her.

the rest with the same settings but with the 1K in the locker.

It works great for us and everyone enjoys the wave.

P.S. Posted the pic of me and the 6 year old, He was been scared of the lake this year and out of the blue he wants to surf with me we have never tried this before but we got up the 1st time and I free surfed with him for quite awhile both of us really enjoyed it!

I'll post some pics tonight. The picture that's rotating through on the homepage is probably the best example that I have though. Ragboy, I'm assuming you mentioned GPS due to speedo accuracy? When I had my original touch screen swapped out, I checked the calibration of the speedo to GPS and it was bang on. I've gone as high as 10.8 with the mentioned settings, but never over that. I found it quickly knocked the wave down, but did not solve my problem. In the mentioned homepage pic, I'm riding the blue inland surfer (for reference).
