Getting my wave dialled in

Well its taken all summer but I am getting the wave dialed in anyway...With a bunch of parts and pieces from CHPTHRL and a bunch of tips from you guys its coming along pretty good. I can clean the wave up quite a bit with with the taps (last pic looks pretty bad, its not usually like that) ...not bad for an I Drive

2100 pounds in the back corner
600 pounds up front
taps at about 5-6

it was pretty rough out this day, more pics to come, got my camera (blackberry)

I have a 2005 21i and love the flexibility that it provides. Our surf wake is pretty good. Just use a couple of bags in the corners and it should be good.

I have had quite a few guys ride behind my boat and I haven't heard anyone say anything bad. A lot of good review from some pretty experienced riders. The 911 prop made a HUGE differece getting out of the hole. Thanks CHP

Just took your advice Ragboy, sunk it till the rubrail hit the water and messed with the weight in the front until I liked it...so...thank you.

Hey, cool, no problem. For the record, that advice came to me from Dennis (BigKahuna) first, I just taylored it a bit. Seems to work on most Tiges.

Nice wake! I have been having a heck of a time trying to dial in my wake on my '01 21i. My current set up is about 800 lbs in the rear corner, and I can get a decent wake, but it is not long. But with that weight in the corner, my prop cavatates (sp) while under load... So, I really do not dare add more weight to the boat. Any advice?

Adding weight in the bow will lengthen the pocket, but what prop are you running?

I used to have that problem too. I pack quite a bit of wieght, depending on how many people come of course.

Integrated bow sac up front, I fill this one last depending on how many people, etc. I think it fills to about 600 pounds.

a 960 in the rear locker under the gullwings all the way to the port side

a 540 on the port side beside the engine
a 350 on top of it and another 350 under the back seat. Its amazing how just moving those 2 350s around a couple inches changes the wake. I have noticed that if I put the 540 and 350 directly on top of each other makes the wake really clean for riding close to the boat, doing spins and airs (trying). If I move the top 350 toward the back (when sitting on top of the other one it is level with the back seat)it makes the wake quite tall but a little washy.

I used to cavitate quite badly when it was loaded so CHP hooked me up with a new prop and it has made all the difference.

3-blade i'm guessing? If so, I would consider looking at the ACME525. It's a 13 x 11.5 with a .080 cup, but I would call ACME and just see what they say depending on where you boat (lake elevation), amount of ballast and how you use the boat.

Yep, it's a three blade prop. I will give Acme a buzz and see what they suggest. FYI: I am at 952 FT. Current ballast is around 800 lbs, but I will be increasing that. Thanks for the help!
