I currently have a couple of boards (inland surfer green lugey and inland surfer red woody) that I ride. I am trying to get better at 360's and other tricks but I think I need a different board. The red woody is only good for riding with the kids and I'm not sure about the green lugey. I am 6'0 and about 170lbs. I am looking at an inland surfer moss but don't know if it's too small for me. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks again.

The yellow loogey and black pearl are worlds apart. The YL is a surf style board and it's a great cruising board - big, wide, thick, with a lot of flotation. I can surf further back in the wave with that board than any other board I own. But, it is not a quick board. The BP, on the other hand, is a skim style board - very quick and maneuverable. Great for trying tricks and a lot of fun to ride but it takes more experience and more action to ride well. If your wave is marginal and your riders are beginners or intermediates, then you'll have more success staying in the wave on the YL. But if you've got the experience and wave for the BP, it is a blast to ride.

I *think* I perfer a surf style board over a skim but I find myself wanting a lot more speed than the surf style board I'm on now. It's a beginner's shredd stixx board I borrow from a friend. I'm looking at Inland Surfer and I was thinking about the swallow either the woody or the carbon quad. I'm definately beginner, but I want something I can progress on and not have to replace after one season. I don't mind failing on a more advanced board if it means getting better in order to no fail.Waiting for another good one!
