    Second time wakesurfing (video)

Yea this was my second time surfing. Actually my second time, not the second day out or anything. After this I tried a CWB Tsunami and I can say I really prefer the surf style ride of this Shredd Stixx over the sharp edge of the Tsunami although me weighing in at 200lbs probably doesn't help my experience on the Tsunami.
It was late and we were mostly out for wakeboarding practice for my nephew so we didn't bother weighting the boat properly either. As you can see it's a pretty poor surf. Anyway, enjoy and poke fun, laugh all you want! LOL

    Waiting for another good one!

      Five,

Not sure what you are riding behind but it looks like you are going really fast. Also noticed your wave is totally washed out and you are riding close to the platform.
I'm not knocking what you are doing just trying to figure out your boat and ballast set up. Good job surfing and let everyone know what you got going on.

Pretty good for your second time. It took me several times to be able to let go of the rope. You should look at getting a nice surf rope. That looks more like a ski or wakeboard rope. The surf ropes are great because they are much more forgiving on the hands.

Yea, the ballast was setup for a HUGE wakeboard wake, not quite for surfing. But I wanted to try it anyway so I did.

I was really close to the platform, yes. I was being my brother's 2002 X-star. Yup, I need a surf rope too. This is an old ski rope that's been cut, tied, and retied and we use it to surf now.
              Waiting for another good one!

The CWB is rated for 185lbs max, so that's partly why you aren't have much luck with it. (IMO)
That Shredd Stixx is a REALLY slow board too. I need to find myself a fast surf style board for right at 200lbs.
