    Grindwater Shaka vs IS Squirt

After weeks of research and shopping, I finally had my new surfboard picked out, a Inland Surfer Squirt. I called my local Inland rep, he had one in stock. Great!

But, after talking w/ him he suggested I look at something different, a surf style board, like a Grindwater Shaka. The surf style boards are a better fit for my boat's surf wake, I guess.

Does anyone ride either one of these boards?

I know they are two different kinds of boards, I'm just trying to find the best setup for my boat. I've only rode skim before, but surf style sounds interesting too.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

i learned on the IS Squirt (till mine got stolen).... its a great board don't let them turn you away from it... I haven't rode the Shaka but I would not be afraid to ride the Squirt as it is a surf style board not a skim

Check out my recent post about the Grindwater Slaysh. I am hoping to get some valuable input back from people like Surfdad or Ragboy.

I am a skim style rider that is trying to convert to surf style and it is not easy so far.
