James wins the 2010 WWSC Men's Pro Surf

I am SOOOOO prpud of my boy! James won the 2010 World Wakesurfing Championship Men's Pro Surf division, in a hard fought battle, that I am sure came down to just a few points. Congratulations to both James Walker and his fledgling FlyBoy Wakesurfing Boards for conquering the chaos and winning the the biggest wakesurf contest of the 2010 season!

I'm hoping I can do this! I always seem to mess up the YouTube embed. I was on the dock, which made it hard to see much, plus all the "paid" photographers were out there, so I was in the back!

I love all the pumping James did to save that air reverse! He was NOT missing that trick, even if it killed him!

Thanks guys! Yeah, Judy and I both took 2nd in the gender specific masters divisions. @ majestic, yes indeed! We should be there Thursday.

This was a huge win for James and his new board company. The Shred Stixx folks sent three of their top riders - Chase Hazen (who won literally every contest he enetered last year and the first contest of this year at Wake9.com) Wes Beck who surfs in ocen contests down in Texas and is 4th in that state! And Chris Kingsley (sp?) who bossts significant airs. The finals came down to James, Chase, Wes and Nick Scott of the Triple X surf wakesurf team, with James clinching the title. It was a HARD FOUGHT battle, with first place coming down to the last few tricks. Great riding by all of the contestants!
