I just finished up a series of articles on how to replace a futures fin box on a wakesurfer. We busted one up pretty good, so I documented the process. Late last year I hear from a guy that gave up on fixing his board because the cost to ship it from Timbuktu, WI to the coast was going to cost him an arm and leg.
Anyway, hopefully no one will ever need these, but if you do, it's pretty easy to replace a box and save your wakesurf board.
