Yeah - as dingleberry stated, Dave Pearson is the shaper behind that brand. Dave is a principal in Ezera Surfboads down in Oceanside. Truly an amazing shaper with loads of experience in ocean boards. Sean Pearson, who I think is Dave's kid, really rips also, he's an AM, but it would not surprise me to see him make the Pro ranks soon.
Ragoboy might have some feedback on the Props board they had for the Polar Bear event.
Props boards will be constructed well and Dave knows how to build them solid enough. My only statement would be that what works in the ocean seldom works behind the boat, well. If you look at the early offerings from shapers that are primarily ocean shapers, they tend to be similar to their ocean short boards...then over time evolve away from those shapes. Flatter rockers, wide points back and wider tails become the evolution.
