    2008 22Ve - FAE affecting wake

Anyone with the same hull as the 2008 22Ve had an issue with a FAE affecting their actual wake? I've read that it can something do that, but I'm a little skeptical, especially since so many on here sing the FAE's praises. I'm asking in this area because I'm specifically concerned for the surfing wake.

Anyone have a first hand account of surfing their boat before and after the FAE? Was their any negative affect to the wake? My 22ve is running the MarinePower 340.

    Thanks!

2007 22ve checking in. Haven't surfed it without FAE but have surfed my friends 2300v without FAE. No noticeable difference in the wake while surfing. What is noticeable is how quiet and fumeless the surfing is. Even if it did affect the wake it would still be 100% worth it to me.

The large swim platform on the 22 and 24ve's are likely to cause more disturbance to the wake than anything else in my opinion, especially running listed as that hull prefers.

      Thanks for the info, SurfinSnipes.

I'm about ready to place the order today. Just holding out to see if anyone else has something to share.

Most people's opinion is they wish they'd done it sooner. I see that a lot.
