    Installing TWP fins

How do I know what direction to put the fins. It apears that there is a slight taper on one side and flat on the other (wing shape). How do I know what side goes out. This is on a TWP board with the bullet shape.

Also anyone know whats up with TWP and FLYBOY? I see James is riding for them too or is it the same deal?

The flat or concave side goes in towards the middle of the board - the convex side goes to the outside. Normally, with futures fins, there will be some die stamps on the base noting the fin ID. Those would on the outside when installed in the board.

Thanks for noticing James and FlyBoy. James owns FlyBoy and started that company up this past winter. He and Mike talked about it and decided it was time for James to branch out on his own. The FlyBoy Wakesurf Board brand manufacturs a high end composite sandwich board that is very different than what James has been riding before. Foil, hooked concave, construction, length, width, fin placement, apex, rocker, thickness and the toad skin bottom are all different on this board. Also, James' FlyBoy board in the composite sandwich with carbon wrapped rails is the only wakesurf board using that construction.

If you get a chance, James has been posting up a bunch of info on his FlyBoy blog...he has a few trick tips at the following link, best if read from the bottom up

and of course all the other happenings in general can be found at FlyBoy Wakesurf

Let me know if I answered you fin question.
