Anyone ride any of these? Hear anything about them?

I know that shred stixx are pretty much the best, but they are about 200 more than these, and im trying to build a winch so i gotta spread the cash as much as i can.

I don't know about anyone else, but I gave up after the first 5 minutes of trying to access the links.

I have the Custom Thruster. I am a relative newbee, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I like it ok. It's not extremely fast and imo it needs to be ridden pretty hard to really keep it happy. It's much tougher to keep this board in the sweet spot than my buddy's Phase 5. I VERY much prefer his Phase 5--unfortunately we have no clue what model it is and I've never seen another one like it.

If I had to buy another board I think I would try a different one. Not that I'm unhappy w/ the Custom, I just think there are better boards out there for me.

I think they are all fairly close in price anyhow, get what you like. See if there is a shop in your area that will let you demo the boards.

Hope that helps a little bit...
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

How much do you weigh and what style do you perfer? Surf or Skim? Best recommendation is to demo boards. Everone is different and has different preferences. The cheaper boards are typically fine for beginners but you can advance quickly and want a better board such as Phase 5, Inland surfer, the walker project, shred stixx, etc. They all cost quite a bit though. Most people that I have talked to love their more expensive boards.

Don't get a wakesurfer from a wakeboard company. Get one from a wakesurf board company like inland surfer, phase 5, walker, etc.

Ok, well i do prefer the surfer style, want something with 3 fins, like a thruster set up or maybe a double thruster. For skim style, i just have a skim i put a fin on lol.

What are you using for ballast in the 20V?
I have 2 Vdrive sacks (think they are 400# each) in the rear locker. I also have a custom made sack that fits perfect from the Vdrive locker all the way under the port side seats up to the cooler under the observers seat.
I have put weight in the bow, but it seemed to flatten the wave out. Personally, I think the wave is pretty damn good for a 20' boat. Just curious what you're running for comparison.

I have a #250 on each side of the motor, and i think 2 #150's up front under the seats. Then 3 buckets of rocks, and 3 duffle bags of rocks + as many people i can get to the lake. But yea, You need to overweight the back to get it tall and then a little up front to get it long. We are planning on getting another sack to put on the port side as well a sack to fit under the port side seats (where did you get yours made?) and then more strategically placed rock

I'm not really down with the rocks, that'd be a mess I'd have to clean.
So you're weighting the starboard side as well huh? I'll have to try that and see what happens.

We have drastically different setups. I'd love to see a pic if you have one of the wave. This pic of mine is pretty weak, it's a shallow lake so it always sucks there.

I nabbed the bag off of ebay. Some cat had it made to fit his boat and didn't like it. Coincedentally it fits like a glove exactly where I wanted it. Fly High makes custom sacks though and they are totally reasonable with pricing. Just measure what you want and call them. I just got SUPER lucky this one fit like it does--and paid $50!!

Yea weve found that weighting both sides actually makes the wave more ridable with our boat.

This is with a little too much weight up front, makes the wave REALLY long and takes away from its height.

This is with about 9 people in the boat, all strategically seated haha.

Yeah, Mine looks similar to the second pic, but maybe just a bit taller. I'm going to have to monkey with it this summer. I started squirreling away lead during the winter, should have enough to experiment before buying a bag for the ideal area. I don't want to leave all that lead in my boat.
