Board is 5'4" and comes with a free rope.

I don't think Obrien makes a 5'4" anything. The Alias comes in two lengths: 4'6" (which is 54") and a 5'0". The 4'6" would be a little tough to learn on at 185 pounds. Also, you can get that board from the factory, brand new, for $144 so I'm not sure that $150 is a great deal for a used board with a used rope.

We purchased an Alias 54" when we first started a few yrs back. Took it back the next day and got a HyperLite Landlock. Much better to learn on. Then went to a Broadcast. So there is a learning curve, and in my IMO start on something easy. After riding the Broadcast I started making my own.
