finally got some waves happening

we finally figured out the weighting behind our z1 for a decent surf..

250l front sack (250kg)
250l rear tank (250kg)
250l fatsack in the middle (250kg)
150l fatsack in the front chanel (150kg)
= 900kg!!! (1980lbs for you guys)+ a few big mates...

How deep is your water?

I tried a similar set up on my 24v. Found I needed to get rid of all the weight in the front and just pack the back locker as full as it could go which consisted of stock tank, and two 250lb sacs. I put my 600lb sac on floor in the cabin as close to the seats as possible. That wake ramps up huge in a hurry.

its really deep where we ride,it gets down to 20meters (65 feet) deep. it would have been at 20 meters in the photos..

we were going to load it all in the back, but the z1 has the hard tanks in the back locker and i wasnt sure about putting another 250kg on the tank as they dont look that sturdy.

You probably need more weight in the rear locker. I also put a 400 lb sac under the center side seat to list the boat as much as possible.

Mine is the same, but once it is filled with water it seems to hold quite well. I put over 500 lbs on it with out any issues and it ramps up real well. Adjust the taps to get rid of the wash and you will be away. Your water is plenty deep enough. Make sure to let us know how you make out. Take lots of pics.

ill give it a go putting it on the tank, was just a bit warey, as its a lot of weight.. but if yours is the same and youve had no trouble ill give it a go when were out next.

I put 500lbs on my hard tanks too. The water weight spreads out plus you have the water inside the hard tanks to support it. I wouldn't recommend standing on the hard tanks though.
