I have 2 walker project boards and both are sweet. The F18 is one of the most expensive in his array of boards. I have a Comp 4.5 and my wife has a S2. These boards are made to perform when pushed. They don't like to just sit back and surf. The more you work the better the response from the board.
I'm sure Surfdad will be on here soon and have the perfect description!
Yeah...James rides for Mike. His board is a bit different than the F-18. I always liked the F-18, I've owned a few over the years. It's got a pretty substantial rocker, both nose and tail. That allows the board to turn quickly in the pocket, as mentioned above it's responsive. However, that much rocker does tend to slow the board down when just being trimmed, also as noted above, you have to work it in order to engage the rails and fins.
