Beersurfing - Lake Powell

I just added a new trick to beersurfing this weekend. Have a friend stand on the platform with a beerbong and surf up for a bong. I'll post my video of it for all to view.

Just curious, have any of you started off the swim platfrom without a rope? I give my self once shot at it to start every session and havent figured it out yet, but getting close.

We would slide off the swimstep and paddle into the wake & than stand up like normal surfing.

Nice, I definitely want to see that! One of my buddies jocked about that, I gotta see how you did it.

I took a guy out from Cali (20 year surfer) last year and he started on the board like a real surfboard and got up the first shot!

Steve I was there the week after you it seems like.
We went up lake this time only to Hanson's Creek but had a great spot and great weather about all you can ask for at Powell

PS - nice surfing but Keystone Light step it up to Bud Light next time

For those of you asked to see a video, I found the video of the first "wakebonging" we now have upped it to a platform start,surfing up no rope grabbing the bong and bonging, surf a bit, and a platform walkoff ending. I'll post some new video's soon.

I'm prepping for my 40 oz ride in a few weeks. I feel confident that I can pull it off on my buddies new board. He just picked up the inland surfer "sweet spot" and it rides nice.
