Crowley wakesurfers

Tommy Czeschin (pro snowboarder) is making Crowley Wakesurfers. I had a chance to hang out with Tommy in February for a few days of snowboarding. We got into some great discussions about wakesurfing. He showed us a lot of video of the board styles he was testing... very cool.

We've decided to buy a couple from him for our wakesurf club / program. He has 2 epoxy styles and 1 wood (low cost) option.

According to Tommy, they have the boards and are just waiting for traction to be shipped to them, then the boards will be ready to roll.

I second the "nicest guy" comment.

ASM paid airfare for myself and 2 (5 total) teenage snowboarders to Mammoth CA to ride for 4 days. I called Tommy (I had only talked to him once before) to see if he'd hang with us... he helped us get discounted tickets, cheap lodging (through his church), showed us the Mammoth hot springs (tubs) and snowboarded with us 3 of the 4 days.

Tommy really had a huge impact on the kids that we took out there. I'm stoked to be able to help get boards into our small MN town.

I should mention that his wife was equally as nice!!! She cooked us dinner and allowed us to steal Tommy away for a few days.

Yeah. Tommy joined us for one of our Bible study sessions one evening. He had some really great insight to share with the kids (and me). I can't say enough good things about the guy.

Funny, we only rode the halfpipe once during our 4 days out there. Tommy is halfpipe guru... didn't even get film of him riding it... doh.

Can't wait to get on his boards.

ASM brought the premiere "One Year" produced by Nations Foundation to small town MN in February. Tommy was one of the stars of the film. It'll be out for purchase this fall. I recommend getting a copy of it. It was put together really well. Great message put in a great way.
