Why did they cracked? Is it because the material that makes it so light it is not as strong?

why it cracked i dont know after a day of riding i take all my gear and wash it off with fresh water and wiped all of our board down... but i was doing a tramptrum and ate it extremely hard and when i got to the boat a friend say dude u cracked the board... luckily the board shop i go to i became friends with the owner and ride allot with him and he just gave me another sub 6 and said he'll send it back and deal with it and dont worry about it....

and my other one the tips just cracked in half but im still riding this one till i can get another one... at work tomorrow ill take pics of the board and u can see where there cracked at. to me its crazy b/c from what i understand carbon fibber is thought to be supper strong
