Hey, that's a great result. All part of the experience. Keep in mind that all the times your son rides, he has to go out there cold and rip off a run. Usually behind a different boat than he's used to. Everybody has a bad day every once in a while.

So we have that in common. Were you guys at Wilmington?
Yes Matt is very consistent, he and Kyle have gone back and forth this season with wins and placements. Kyle over all is the better rider with the bigger and better tricks, but Matt is very consistent. Wilmington day one, he rode horrible, he actually fell once just getting up, but he did very well on day 2. Kyle seems to be cool with it, he and Matt have become really good buddies thru this season and I think that has actually helped him deal with it.
But he was so close after day one I think he may of been a little too confident and thought he had it in the bag. If Kyle got 1st and Matt placed 2nd they would of ended up in a tie for 1st.I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

scoot18.
This is my sons second year competing and we did not make any CWS events - maybe next year. Benj bumped himself from intermediate to the expert division after the first INT comp and they really pushed each other. We did not have a Tige pulling any of the NC INT events either - the best score Benj posted this season was behind the Kirks 210.
Let me know if you ever get to our area; It would be great to get them on the water together.

hehehe... I guess you have earned it.
I hope my kid does the same ... but it appears a fundamental difference is that I hope his approach is that he will do so ... just cause he wants too.

I watched the video you posted of Kyle riding earlier and knew he would do well. I was hoping you have pics from this past weekend, with all the riders on the water in Halloween costumes.
