i have not ridden it but i did get a chance to check one out at our local shop. it is one neat looking board and so light i could not believe it. it will be interesting to see how it holds up. he would not let me demo it as he had just got in minutes before i showed up. i bet i could go down there now and demo it since he has had a chance to show it off.
My son has ridden that board, when he gets home I will have him post up his comments. He is a team rider for our local MC dealer and Ronix is a line that they sell, he chose the ibex to ride and ended up turning it in and chose another Ronix to ride. I believe the reason was he didn't like the length of the board, it was too short. I'll have him post his thoughts for you.

Whats up my brothers on the tige forum!? haha Ibex is a great board. Parks Bonifays pro board which is a brand new model for 08. parks is a very agressive rider who loves to go absolutely huuuggee. So the board he rides is designed to make sure he can do that. The ibex has an agressive 3-stage rocker which gives the board all the pop you need. The rails on the board are rounder through the middle and then sharpen up towards the end so when you turn it over on edge it has a nice smooth transition into a your cut and will hold a solid edge to and through the wake. To me when i rode it didnt release off the wake for spins as well as the covin or the frontier does but it has super soft and fast landings. Veryy fast board. I weigh about 170 and rode the 134. It was a little to small for me, i should have been on the 139 but thats the only size my shop had for me to ride. Make sure u ride a long enough board for your weight or you will eb sacrificing pop and speed. If you have any other questions let my dad know.
No worries,
Kyle

I have an IBEX 139 with Ronix 1 close toe bindings. It is by far the best set up I have ever ridden. The board has nice pop, with a super soft landing. Prior to buying the IBEX I rode a series of high end boards from other manufactures, and nothing compared in my humble opinion.
if the IBEX is the one with the silver finish it starts to crack under the coating. it doesnt have anything to do with the performance of the board but it just doesnt look cool. i dont have pics sorry. i would still get the board because it is really good performance wise. and i dont really care what my board looks like.
I bought the IBEX 139 with the new RONIX CELL bindings.....I had them heat molded to my feet.....I will let you all know how everything works out after this weekend!
I have theRonex 1 and the coven boards, both are great. Anything by Ronex is going to be on the money. Good choice also on those bindings. I have the Faction CWB's but after I rode on the cell bindings I wanted those instead.
