If you have the money now, I would jump on that one. It won't last IMO.

          Premier(259)?

          One($289)?

Whats the differance between a platty and reg?

Platty is one pound light in weight and considered an Advanced board while the Reg board is an Intermediate/Advanced board.

If you are use to a fast board, the Marius is not that. However, the Marius will provide you with a lot of pop and height off the wake while benefitting from a soft landing.

Yup, 1 lbs lighter. A normal board IMO is about 8 lbs. This would be 7 lbs or less.

I beg to differ. It accelerates very quickly. But you're right about the pop and the landing.

Is there anyway I could get that good of a price at my dealer?

From what I understand and have heard, the accelleration is okay, it's when the board goes straight with no tricks that are involved when people are saying it is slow. That makes sense since there is a huge amount of surface contact with that board compared to others in the industry.

Maybe but not sure. You could test the board out at the dealer and explain what you have seen but want to test it out first. Then you might want to buy the bindings there or maybe something else for the boat.

Ok, that makes sense. My comments come from watching my son board. Speed does not seem to be an issue for him. He did take the fins off.

                                Can they match prices?

I don't need anything else for my boat, nor do I have the $$$ to waist
