I just recently got to ride at the Kansas Cable park for 3 days straight earlier this semester. I wasn't a huge fan of rain riding until I got a taste of it...it's actually very fun. I think one of the best parts was being able to progress SUPER fast: the first day I got there, everything was 50/50 slides, and I only hit like 2 sliders out of all the obstacles. By the last day, I was hitting kicker 5's, box 5s, 90 on to 360 off on the rails, and all sorts of fun stuff. If you haven't tried it, don't knock it, its actually a blast.
Naturally occuring slider in Deepwater, MO Truman Lake
your naturally occuring slider comment makes me think of the 3 miles of railroad track that runs across Truman lake near deepwater MO. when the water is up it lurks 2-3 feet below the surface, when its down...you get to see what lots of boats look like in pieces... I would not want to hit that rail with my boat, my board, and especially not my head...
I am with you Tequilasun. I don't get it. It's not like there are naturally occurring stair rails in the middle of the lake. However, I guess it could be useful if you jump the wake and happen to land on top of a houseboat.

Doug, I would love to see that, can you point me closer to where they are?
I go through Deepwater all the time.

Heading South from KC, look to your right off the big bridge just before deepwater. I'll try to grab some pics before Spring and the water rises. In December tehy were nearly 10 feet above the water line. I should note they were a old truss bridge making them even more impossible to tell when you come up on them...

Interesting, I have been on that bridge hundreds of times, and have never seen the railroad tracks. I do like how you can see the old fence rows and such from the farms before they flooded the area. I'm going to have to take a closer look now.
Thanks Doug.
