I wish I had video of the backroll I tried this weekend! I'm not the best invert guy...actually I suck. But I've had the backroll in my bag for a year or so solid.
I just remember a splash like a fat kid doing a belly flop off the high dive. Then tasting a little blood in my mouth.
No serious injury, just one solidly rung bell!"I want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details"

INVERTS:
I feel that once you have landed one type of invert then most of the rest basic ones come very easy. I started with a tantrum, landed on the 3rd try then it was a back roll. After those I decided that toe side back rolls were easy then moved to toe side fronts. Still working in the heelside front... almost have( the wipeouts hurt!) By the end of this summer I'm planning on having a Raley and Batwing down... We'll see what happens.
P.S. try practicing on the trampoline and then take it to the water. You need to go all out or else I feel the falls hurt worse."Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory."

my best trick is a tantrum. i learned it last year on my 16th birhtday on the 4th try. ive had it consistant ever since. then i broke my leg in may this year racing motocross. i was out until august. a month and a ahalf later i learned a backroll and bs 360. the backroll was awesome for me becouse it didnt hurt my leg and it was an easy trick to come back with. those are my best tricks. then i just like havin fun with 180s
for anyone wanting to learn an invert i would defanantly go with the backroll first, its way easy. 2 trys.

I am about 95% around on a back roll. Hopefully I will get it within the next 10 attempts. Been riding consistent for a year now, but I was real on and off for 4 years while I was in college with no boat!
Here is my latest attempt... The wake is really wide because we had 12 people crammed onto our 20v and the boat is going about 22mph as opposed to the normal 23.5-24mph. I think I will try it going 23mph or so! You can skip to about half way through. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=2024771880Last edited by TrakDay; 05-03-2007, 06:13 PM.

Cleanest, biggesty, most consitent is probably a mellon to 180 off the double up. I wakeboard maybe 10 times a year. I usually go out for chits and giggles every once in a while just to hit some DU's. Otherwise I surf. You'll get your chance, smart guy.
