STILL WORKS AS GOOD AS IT DID WHEN IT WAS NEW AND LOOKS
ALMOST AS GOOD. KINDA LIKE A COMFERTABLE PAIR OF JEANS

I got lucky. 2000 22i. Last of the flat bottom Droop Snoots. The thing trows a bithen wake for boarding or surfing but it will still give me repectable slalom wakes through the coarse. They are not record capable or anything but still.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

OH YES LETS NOT FORGET THE COST OF THE NEW ONES...
NICE BUT PRICY.....AND THEY ARE KINDA TUNED AND DESIGNED
TOWARDS THE WAKEBOARDERS, I DO A LITTLE WAKEBOARDING
BUT THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN MAKING SWEET TURNS
ON THE OLD FIRESTICK....ESPECIALLY BEHIND THE OLD PRE.COMP
            IT HAS THE BEST WAKE.

I could not believe the difference 10 years makes in ski design!!!! The CDX is so easy to turn and takes the wake crossing much better than the older models.

If you look at my photo page you will see the review of the 97 Tige Pre2000WT. It really speaks highly of the wakes for slalom sking. You can tell by the article that slalom was king in those days, with the wakeboarders just getting into the design frame of mind. What is also funny is it rates it for barefooting. Those poor guys dont have any specialty boat made for them anymore.

REMEMBER THE BAREFOOT NATIQUE??? THAT PUPPY HAD A BIGBLOCK
IN IT...AND THEN SKI CENTURION HAD THEIR LITTLE OUTBOARD GIG
                  FOR BAREFOOTERS FOR A WHILE..
I'LL KEEP MY OLD TIGGER BOAT FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.

I have a bunch of old WaterSki magazines. I save the boat test issues for reference on older boats.

Actually, you're typical of the target audience Tige wants to address. Since none of us are professionals or single-sport (except for maybe bfrank...) enthusiasts, we all have to compromise somewhere. What's cool is the compromises don't seem to be that great.

I think you nailed why we love our boats so much!
