Have you guys seen that new HO Monza? 3.2 pounds. It's almost creapy when you pick it up. I think I'm going to demo the 67" Charger this weekend. I'll let you know.

bfrank - Well, I was with all slalom skiers and it was after they took their sets, once all the wallies came out, so they had fun and laughed about it. BUT, If I tore up the butter in the morning, came through making large wakes, I'm sure I wouldn't hear the end of it.

We have a HO Charger and really like it. It is predictable and easy to ride for all of us: me, my wife and 2 daughters. So it can handle a big range of sizes. We do not try to run the slalom course, so I don't have any input on that aspect.

Course etiquette is the three pass and drop. I didn't even think too ask, I just watched for a bit and did what they did. Nobody said anything to me about it so I guess we did it right. In fact, I felt like part of the family. Everyone waits patiently for their turns, there is joking between boats, and everyone waves goodbye when you leave. Zero attitude and zero pressure. It's kind of like going to Cheers. I wish I could say the same about the others out on the lake. Courtesy has always been a priority for me and it seems to go largely unrecognized. I can't wait to get back out to the course.

I ride a 72" HO Magnum Comp 9.x. I'm 6'7" (almost as tall as talltigeguy) and about 270. I learned to ski 14 years ago at the ripe old age of 30. I can still out ski my kids, which comes in handy when they tease me about my wakeboarding abilities :-) Now I just can't last as long....but hey, at least I get out there and do it!

Actually, I'm tired of my triple wrap bindings (both front and rear) because they take forever to put on. Any recommendations on replacements that are as easy to get into as wakeboard bindings?

Rode a 69" HO Vengence on Sunday and loved it. Easy to get up on and very foregiving. Turns great and accelerates even better. Probably the best ski rides I've ever had behind my Tige. Oh yeah, it had the approach bindings. Sweet.

I purchased the 69" Vengeance on Sat. It was the demo for the season so I got a smoking deal. $156.00 for the stick, MSRP-$365.00. $167.00 for one pair of the Approach bindings, MSRP- $410.00. $323 vs. $775 = $452 in 1 happy NICKYPOO pocket. Can't wait to get out on the coarse.
