    Which Boat

I just posted a message in anouther area but I thought that if people are coming here they like to slalom.............I want to know what all of you ski behind and how the wake is. I want to go with the 22V but it sounds like the 20V may be the only one with a decent wake. We need a new boat the old one isn't that great to wakeboard behind but I still want a great wake to slalom after all it is my first love.

A V-drive is the last boat you want if you are still going to do some serious slalom. The 21i and the 22i are incredible wakeboards that also can handle the slalom course. If you are a recreational free skiier, and don't go very fast and don't take huge cuts, then a V-drive could probably work for you. The direct drives will 10 out of 10 times be a better slalom boat.

      Michelle -

I have a 2001 21i with the TAPS System that I use for both wakeboarding and slalom. I love to slalom and my friends love to wakeboard, and this boat is perfect for both. With the TAPS set low the boat hardly leaves a wake for slalom, and when it's cranked high you get a huge, perfectly shaped wave for wakeboarding. I'm thinking of selling the boat - it only has 65 hours on it - so if you're interested let me know. My wife doesn't ski or wakeboard and so we want to get a boat that we can spend the night on and do some limited cruising.

yeah if you still want to ski, get a direct drive. I too have a 03 21ir and it works great for both. I thought I'd always ski, before boarding, but now it's the other way. We pump some ballast in and the wakes are HUGE, empty them out and the ski comes out across a small, faint wake, very nice, well done tige
