Heavier the better?

Do you want a lite slalom ski? I have an older HO 69 turbo and its fairly heavy and I like it because it seems more stable or smoother to cross the wake, my dads slalom is pretty lite and its always hoping around when I cut throught the wake.

They have a Goode 9800 or somthing thats carbon fiber and is suppose to be really lite but its like 1k + bindings, what is so good about a lite ski?

I still prefer the heavier because its a nice ride to me.

i assume that the lite ones go faster as they create more drag, its only important if ur going into competitions. if ur just halfin a good time out in the lake i would say the heavier is better, makes for a nicer ride.

That makes sense, I'll continue to ride mine, I'm not a big fan of my dads anyways because The bindings are pretty uncomfortable because their closed to...really tight.

Even if you get a light one the bindings weigh it down alot.

O yeah ive been skiing since April. I got a Connelly stoker for the front boot and then an adjustable RTP.
