    From what I'm told, my grandfather rode this one the entire length of the Sacramento arm of Shasta. I tent to believe that one. After the war, he really embraced waterskiing and he would drag the family all the way up to Antlers resort at Shasta from Los Angeles once a year. I guess after being a tailgunner in a B-29, a little jaunt became much bigger and not that big of a deal.

        I used to have that very same Jobe ski... I actually have no idea what happened to it. Nice grab!
