    portable slalom courses

Anyone here that has used a portable course? Would like feedback on the ease of use/durability of the various brands. Any info would be appreciated and moreso if you've had experience with more than one brand.

    TIA,
    Jack

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to the install/uninstall. Unfortunately, leaving one in is not a good option where I am.

you might look into one of the submergeable one's. They have them at a lake nearby, and if you have the code to the lock, you can punch it in and it floats to the top.

Yeah, there's a group of us on my lake that have been considering that alternative. However, I have heard from more than one source that keeping the thing working correctly is not without its headaches. And, unfortunately, there's at least one person around here that might drag an anchor through it at 2 AM.

Anyway, just trying to determine the best all around alternative and go from there. If I used it ten times in a summer that would be nine times more than I get to ski a course now.

We have one we built by hand, and after we goat a system dow it is a half hour in and a half hour out with three people. Ours is just like the insta-slalom one. only real problem is all the space it takes up, but to those who love to ski its a small price to pay.
