Halo 3

Yeah, COD is most fun when you have a bunch of people you know working together. It's still my favorite game.

I LOVED the control and stuff of COD4, its awesome, but I didn't like going into campaign, and feeling like I had to try to keep up with the AI guys on my side, you know?

Those guys ran their butt off.... Is there really any way to stay up with them???? I just let them run up there and didn't worry because there was laptops around the areas that they would run by very quickly.

Same for me, I just don't have the time to stay competitive in halo 3, or gears of war. I loved the gears of war coop campaign with my son. Then we get to multiplayer, he practices, and just wipes the ground with me. If I go in a halo MP game, I see blurs and then someone teabagging me.

That is why I like team fortress 2, and would love to find more people that would play it. It has different types of players, that help level the field. If you like running like hell and hit and run, you take the scout, or the spy. If you are like me, and want to defend a position, and have tons of firepower, you be the heavy, and use the gatlin gun. There is a doctor, sniper, demolition dude, engineer, its pretty darn cool.

Funny thing is that I have exactly the same problem in Halo3. It's just way to fast. Now, I am thinking about getting the Orange Box (almost bought it yesterday) and seeing what I can do. I am not interested in HL but Team Fortress 2 seems like it would be REALLY fun....

oh, one more thing. I subscribe to IGN, and it is how I weed out what games I should or shouldn't buy, they have great reviews, and video reviews, and it has done a good job of keeping me from buying a stinker.

At the same time, I have never watched a game review, just for the entertainment value of the review, until Zero Punctuation came around. If you haven't seen these, you must, they are hilarious. Played last night with CP3 and Ruune.... I can honestly say that I am playing with people WAY above my league. Thanks guys for putting up with my inability to play.

Even saw G-Money online playing early.

Glad that you got some enjoyment out of it. I felt like I was running around trying to find people only to have them pop up (i think out of no where) and kill me. Oh well, at least I can say that I am not good and any hopes to become better will come one day...

I play COD4 last night for the first time in a while. Its tough
