COVID is an interesting virus for sure. My family if 5 all have it. My wife started us out with typical stomach flu symptoms. She was in bed for a couple days. After that she felt fine. Couple days later she looses her taste and smell. Been that was for 4-5 days now. The other night in the middle of dinner she shouts out “I taste the garlic in this bread!!!”. Pretty funny. My kids have been least affected. Very mild fevers and tiredness. One lost smell and taste a bit. I have different symptoms every day, for the most part. My main issue is that I feel like I have a sunburn on my back and chest. Very sensitive skin. Today I have a bad runny nose. I try to work in my garage building a car for a couple hours each day. It wears me out. Also do a lot of reading for a certification exam I’m taking soon.

I just got back to work and was stuck at home with the Rona. Basically a gnarly cold for me with some joint aches and pain and fatigue. Lost my smell and taste completely and it is slow to come back.

I tried a little challenge I had seen and took a bite out of a raw onion, ate a spoonful of minced garlic out of the jar, and did a shot of lemon juice. Nothing except some burning in the sinuses from the onion. Crazy stiff

Too funny. My wife lost her smell and taste completely. We had garlic bread as part of our meal the other night. In the middle she shouts out, “I taste garlic!!!” She was so happy. She didn’t taste anything else.
Tonight she tasted a donut. It’s slowly coming back.
