    Kneeboardin'

Okay, I guess I'll be the first to post here

Anybody else kneeboard? I'll have to admitt, I like to kneeboard as much as wakeboard (nobody shoot me )

What do you ride? I bought a O'brian BlackMagic last year for my kids. It's a great board for the kids, but I'm ready to graduate to a higher performance board. Any suggestions?

Mike, that is how I first go in to watersports and boating. I do it ocassionaly but am severly addicted to the wakeboard! I did know a guy that was dedicated to the Lowrider, I think its by Obrien.

my bro loves kneeboarding. It hurts my legs too much. But it is fun. I can't think of the name of mine, but it's nice since the fins are shift on the fly. Kinda nice

        good kneeboard

Mike HO makes a very good couple of kneeboards. The one I ride is the "joker", it is basically a twin tip with hard edges and a really wide tail. you do not have to weight a lot to ride it, but it helps. they also have a identical design board but with a smaller more narrow tail. That board name slips my mind now but it is better for smaller riders. HO is only sold at dealers or online, So check one out if possible before you buy to know the size you would like. The Obrien lowrider holds the middle ground size wise, but the kneepads on the Obrien are too slippery for my taste. We get matching length spectra wakelines and double a lot. You just have to be careful with hard edge boards. If you go flying in to somebody it will notch your edge of the board.

Kneeboards work great in powder. It's about the only time I'll get on one any more. My knees just can't take it. I still have my old Hydroslide Magna. The very first model with the retratable fins. It was even before they went to the single actuator up front between the knees. You had to do them one at a time back by your feet. Man, those were the days.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

            I'll second the Joker.

It is a nice board, good feel and control. I get really good air on it. I don't kneeboard much anymore, but It is the best way to get an adult newbie into watersports. So I end up showing a lot of people some very simple tricks.
