    Putting on Prop

Is there anything special I need to know about putting a prop back on or is it just put the key back in the prop, slide it on and tighten down the nut. Also, does the nut need to be really tight or just snug. I didn't know if that would cause the prop to not spin if you had it too tight.

    Thanks

make sure the key goes in the right way so that the prop snuggs all the way up on the shaft and then tighten the nut real good. Can't really be too tight and the prop will definitely spin as everything spins together as effectively part of the shaft assembly. Lastly put the cotter pin in just in case!

Also be sure and use stainless steel cotter pins.

Grease the shaft and it will be easier to remove next time.

There's a major joke just waiting to burst forth about greasing one's shaft that will be left to the users imagination.
