I have checked the trans and velvet drive an it all looks good. So I think we are all good with the engine, velvet drive and trans. I will get a new plug and test it out.

I think it might be, I will start a new thread stating the drain plug hole should have had a check ball in it.

Yes, you can buy a bilge pump float that will parallel into the pump's 12V and run straight to the batt. Check the price tho, you may find it about the same price to just install a new 3-wire pump with built in float.

Yeah once we noticed the water I turned the bilge on right away. The bilge worked great but at that point it was not going to keep up.

I have a '99 with an auto bilge and we have several other '02s with auto bilges as well.

My '02 had a manual bilge until I added a float switch to it. Insurance company cut me a break as well for having the auto-bilge pump.

I would spray fogging oil on the Engine & Trans.

FYI, my '01 21V does not have a float either.

Spend the extra $36 at Boater's World and get an automatic. I'll never own a boat without it. In fact, I'm going to add a second bilge pump here soon.
