2 Vent Heater Core - casualty of the winter

My boat is without a heater and I'd like to add one....

It's just the core, you would still need the box, blower, vents and switch. Probably cheaper to buy the kit.

Yikes!! I just saw this thread get revived and realized I had done nothing to winterize my heater!!! I looked over countless threads on winterizing the block and the rest of the boat but didn't even think about the heater. I will say the boat sits in a heated garage, but when the temps plummeted earlier in the year it might got below 30 degrees. Like others have stated, the housing of the heater would be a lot more susceptible to the cold as opposed to the block. What do you think my chances are I'm replacing the heater this spring? And how do you winterize them? Thanks

Hmm, I think you will probably be fine since the garage is heated. You won't know until you start up the boat and take a look.
