    Throttle handle

Last weekend I was on the lake and noticed that the throttle handle was extremely loose. Not the ball up top but the whole handle. It eventually worked itself off and I just pushed it back onto the splines that were underneath trying to line it back up the best I could. It kept working itself loose throughout the day. I tried to look up under the vinyl at the other side but I could not find anything to tighten it down. Does anyone know anything about these or what i could do to tighten it up? The boat is a 2002 20i. It goes in for its annual service next Monday...but I would really like to be on the lake this weekend without this issue if possible. Also, I would hate to pay the dealer to fix something if I am capable. Thanks in advance for any help!

My 03,21i did the same.My understanding is there was a service recall on that and the braces for ski platform. All I did was take the screw out that holds the handle on and put locktite on it.That fixed it.

shoot me your email, and I'll send you some info on the company that at least made the handles. I have some contact and an electronic service manual for my particular handle from when I contacted them directly.

Got it squared away. Easy fix. There was a little allen head bolt underneath that I didn't see! Thanks for all the info!
