Well, I'd have him give the boat a good once over to see what else might be lurking.

oh hes gonna look at EVERYTHING just to make sure I dont run into any more problems next year... Like the beginning of the summer when we bought the freaking thing the impellar went out, then a belt, then rpm gauge, now this. They used to be a Tige dealer (idk why they arent now) so im pretty cool with them looking at everything.

ok just got the phone call that may put a dent in my pocket...

So far we know a head gasket did blow, water in 3 of the 4 cylindars and Im not going to know if the head or pistons are cracked for another 2-3 weeks when they have actual time of getting around to it. either way Im done for the season damn it

        EDIT:
He did say the thermometer did read 220+ but he sayed due to something (cant remember) it was only reading air and the true engine temp. was WAYYYYY hotter than what that said. So im pretty much assuming im screwed.

sounds like your circulation pump had a problem. You might want to think about an alternate service option.

That sucks. Do you have insurance? Sometimes they can cover it if it's an accident.

I know State Farm replaced my rudder, prop, drive shaft and strut when a submerged log got wedged between my prop and rudder.

                  Good luck.

Are you (they) 100% sure the head gasket blew? Over heating can also hurt the manifold and riser gasket and that will also cause water intrusion as well. If they did cooling system pressure test and/or leak down then never mind but just making sure they don't pull the heads when not necessary.
