look towards rear of boat port side i think not a 100% sure but i will check for you. its gona be located in a big silverish/gray canister with wires on top its part of the fuel pump/cell assy. unscrew it drop it down and drain the fuel into a glass container to see if there is water in the fuel. you will also be able to inspect the filter at this time.
Is this the cannister with the cooling lines attached? I've tried to unscrew this before and I feel like if I crank on it any more I'll break something!

yes that should be the one take the cooling hoses off and yes its tight but it is metal you wont break it. you will have to use a strap wrench or filter wrench to get it off.
What is the replacement for this fuel filter? This is the high pressure filter right? I've gone two seasons now without changing it, I think I'll change it before next summer.
