Easy oil Question

I am new to this, so this should be the easiest question ever, for you experienced boaters.
What type of oil do I put in my 350 mag mpi? Am I safe to use a regular automotive quaker state 5W30? Also, does anybody know the oil capacity for this motor? My Mercruiser user manual is on order, but has not arrived as of yet, and I refuse to go to the mechanic for a simple oil change.

I use 15w-40. The manual my rec. straight 30w or 40w. Need to a marine grade oil because it will have more rust, corrosion, and moisture inhibitors than automotive grade. Capacity should be 5.0qts

I use the straight 40W as recommended.

Merc recommends the 25-40 merc oil.
