            Do you have a shower hooked up? I had a similar issue when I originally installed my shower as mentioned earlier... water weeped from the engine out the cool water intake, this actually casued the temp gauge to read 0 degrees even when the engine was at running temp.

              I actually do have a shower hook-up but never thought about it weeping out of the intake. Did you unhook yours?

                i installed a ball valve and shut off the hot water when not in use. Problems go away then...
