Fuel Pump leaking?

I noticed upon launching the boat for the season over the weekend that FUEL if leaking from the Fuel Pump/Water separator unit? I have attached two pic..one just showing the unit, the second showing a stream of fuel...

I noticed upon launching the boat for the season over the weekend that FUEL if leaking from the Fuel Pump/Water separator unit? I have attached two pic..one just showing the unit, the second showing a stream of fuel...

The marina tells me there is a small crack and the whole Fuel Pump needs to be replaced. New pump coming in at $400.00........thoughts?

If only the canister is cracked, why cant I just replace that part? The pump and boat is running fine.
