2016 RXZ-2 Engine Fault Code FMI 11 and FMI 31 Misfire

Hello, jumped into this rzx-2 about 2 months ago and I was out cruising today and had to bring the boat in early because the screen started beeping at me.
Has anyone had any experience with these codes?

FMI 11 Emissions Misfire Cyl 5
FMI 31 Cat Damaging Misfire Cyl 5

Dan is right. Starting with heat shields is way to go first. If codes for same hole keep coming back then it's time to consider plugs (yes plugs plural, two per hole), coil, or injector. Honestly haven't had any of above fail. Usually heat shield is the answer. Also seems to help if you clear codes and clear CL adapt via Diacom in my experience. Misfired seem to be a non issue after that.

Hi,

I had this issue as well but with cylinders 1,5 and 6. My dealer spoke with Indmar and the solution was to remove the spark plug heat shields and remap/reset the computer. I went out today and it seemd to work! I hope it works for you.
