    09 rz4 wot maxed 4100 rpm

When i bought the boat I tested everything, took to 5200 rpm, and then did a compression test (everything was within 10psi i believe between 160 and 170 or 170 to 180 but dont have the results handy). First time out after i had engine light come on, and found out i had a bad knock sensor. Never really pyshed the engine as the engine light came on at 3k rpms. Once fixed i decided to make sure it would redline, and now it wont go above 4100 rpms. I had a little extra oil in it, so i drained some out (and oil looks good not milky) and replaced the primary gas filter (have not changed the one after the high pressure fuel pump yet)

My thought is that maybe it is related to the compression test? Something not making connection after? Boat runs great outside of the wot, and electrical issie from the other post.

Update lowest result of compression test was 170, highest was 180.

Verify all your spark plug wires are firmly connected. What engine is in your boat? What prop are you running? I'm assuming you're talking about lake testing it.

Tested on a lake at about 900 ft pcm ex 343 with a 537 prop. Have had it on 2 lakes and a river all 600 ft above sea level or less since the test drive. Same weight in boat.
