09 rz4 computer issue

So i am stumped on this. Assuming it is a wiring issue but cant find the problem. My computer system stops wirking intermittently. Sometimes it does not read speed, or freezes. Depth rarely works, and cruise works sometimes and not other times. It will generally respond to button presses on the speed set remote, so i dont think that is the issue. Sometimes it does not respond to me turning cruise on and off. Cruise will work for 2 hours then just randomly stop working. Resetting through the panel and turning boat off and on has helped some times and not others. Also last time out it all of a sudden stopped reading water temp.

Anyone have any similar issues? I have pulled apart contacts and dont see anything obvious.

I have the same boat and the same issues. I had the lake temp and depth finder issues earlier this year. I would unplug them by the engine and plug back in and they would work. Had to do that two times and it has worked since. The speed set just randomly shuts off. I have to turn the switch off and back on and it will usually start working again. Today I had to do it three times before it would engage again. I am not sure what causes this, but it is annoying.

I pulled apart and looked at every connector i could. There was corrosion in the plug you mentioned but i cleaned it and still no better. Could it be a computer issue? Is there an upgrade that maybe the boat needs to have downloaded? It has been serviced by non yige dealers since it was purchased

I am not sure what the most current software should be. I would add that my screen will go white from time to time and I have to shut down and restart the boat to fix it. I was hoping someone would chime in that knows the issues better than I do. There were some posts on here a few years ago related to this.
