    Faria Gauge Warning Beep

    DAMN BEEPING!

So when I am trying to edit the depth or the time.. the beeping stops.. once I exit that feature.. It's back on... Unfortunately the thing won't stay in edit mode or I could have a temporary fix.. Please check out the youtube video... What bad timing as the Tige Reunion at Lake Mead is around the corner...

When my tach was making a beep like that, it ended up being the lighting circuit inside the guage messed up. Yours is different than mine, but to dim my guage lights I have to hit the up and down arrow together... It took me messing around with it all day and it finally getting dark, to realize the light in the guage was on no matter what.. Faria was great to deal with and answered all the email questions I had immediately.. Quick fix, reach behind and unplug the multi wire plug and run without till after the reunion

Thanks mang! Yeah I had caught that in your other thread about the lights not operating properly but those are working actually, I can turn them on and off. Prob just a circuitry problem like you had though... With the 2016 Lake Mead reunion around the corner I am not sure I have time to get a quick turnaround on it.. Plus at least it works.. just beeping like crazy.. if need by I would love to disassemble the beep as I don't see any need with exception of the depth finder and even then I don't set any alarms for that.. So maybe I can ground the 'beep' wire?? Cut the cord? not sure if that is an option even... Bueller?

Somehow/someway... I was able to get the beeping to stop... NO IDEA... I was messing around with the depth alarm and I must have pressed the right buttons finally.. Thanks god! That crap was annoying!

I also killed my beep.. It was the Idle Air Control Valve... Didn't show up as a code but user CDawg pointed me in the right direction.. Nothing better than the feeling you get when things work again the right way.. Congrats!
