Throttle Knob is loose how do i tighten

Have 2001 21i
the black plastic knob with taps switch is all loosey goosey how do i tighten it up

It takes a small hex wrench to tighten the screw up that is recessed into the handle. Do not try to screw the handle tighter as that will break the TAPS wires inside the handle.

[Tip]

Make sure you tighten it before you go out again. I did not even know my was loose and it came off in the middle of the lake, I'm very fortunate it did not come off while I was under way.
I now carry a hex wrench on the boat just in case.
