Surprise Fuel Injector Problem after Winter Storage.

Pulled My 2000 Tige 21V out of storage and had upholstery done and wrap. While I was cleaning up to start a late season, I came across this broken injector. It appears to have corroded loose? Before considering starting the replacement, any suggestions as to what I should do?

Is this a sign that I need to replace more if not all my injectors?
Other than replacing this injector, is there something I should be prepared for replacing as well?

Last year I had some intermittent rough ideal problems sometimes or difficult restarts, but overall ran fairly well.

Probably got tugged on by the cable. Replace the injector and cable tie the wiring so it doesn't happen again. You could do a cylinder drop test to check everything is firing correctly.

Very Common problem, engines get hot, they sit in insulated motor bay's and just radiate in their own heat. Plastic can only be heated and cooled so many times before they become breakable to the touch. (I am sure you are already aware of this)

To answer the second piece of the question, there is no doubt an intermitted firing injector could cause those symptoms you mentioned. However, while your digging around in there couldn't hurt to do a visual once over on the key "wearable" pieces.

      Rotor Cap
      Spark Plugs
Ect. just to make sure everything is good to go since your already in there.
