    water in speedo

I am getting water in my left side speedo. It starts to fill up when I increace speed. Anyone know what could be wrong? The gauges are air guides The boat is a 1998 Pre2200iWT

It has a busted seal and is letting the water come out into the gauge.

It can not be repaired but can be replaced. You could unhook the speedo and that would stop the water.

Thanks for the help Lee! Where could I find a replacement that would be the same? Also how does that work anyway?

Your Tige dealer could try and order you one.

The speedo is driven by water pressure. The faster you go the more pressure and the higher the needle climbs.

Before Air Guide went tits up the speedo was $150. Now you will be lucky to find one at all.

I bought a new Air Guide speedo for my Tige last year on ebay. Was about $100. Might want to keep an eye out for another ebay auction.
