Yesterday afternoon after being out on the water all day my boat would not start after being anchored out in a cove for about 40 min. It would turn over, try to start then idled really rough and died almost immediately. I have had the boat over 5 years and have never had this issue before. I did notice that my blower was not working when I opened the engine hatch. Long story short, I think the cause was the fuel in the injector rails getting too hot. We let the boat sit with the engine hatch open for about 30-40 minutes and then it fired right up. I will be replacing the blower but wanted to see if anybody else thinks this could be the culprit. I almost always run the blower at idle speeds and before I start it. It must have burned out yesterday or last weekend. Seems to me the hot fuel was causing the problem. Thanks in advance.
