Oil Pressure Sender - Multiple Choice Question

I've had my 2006 24ve (5.7L MP) for a couple months I noticed this past week that my oil pressure gauge is pegged to the max as soon as the engine turns on. After reading through a couple posts, i'd like to try to replace my oil sending unit. After trying to match the diagrams in the MP manual with my engine, i've come down to three options. In the picture below, is the oil sending unit "A", "B", or "None of the above". The picture is from the starboard side of the engine. I appreciate the help.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

"A" is the knock sensor that gets pulled to drain that side of the block, so thats not it.

"B" is actually oil pressure sender that controls the gauge. If my memory serves me, you can ground its wire with the key on and the gauge should show 0. This test the operation of the circuit and gauge.

Thanks. Any thoughts on where i can find a new oil pressure sender unit if that turns out to be the issue? I'll try the grounding troubleshooting tomorrow.

Its a pretty standard sending unit used through the 80's and 90's, so you might be able to match one up. You might be able to get one through MP, but dont know if they sell direct.
